Mobilize Org-Wide: Mid-Level

All team members, including leadership, are held accountable to personally developing their capacity for racial equity, diversity and inclusion work and in operationalizing the organization’s stated commitment to this work in their programs and processes. Now is the time to ensure that development of disaggregated data practices exist across all functions in the organization so that all teams and team leaders are aware of their progress. Additionally, an assessment of current budgeting an financial practices is necessary at this phase to ensure that racial equity, diversity and inclusion priorities are funded.

In this phase, the racial equity team should focus on:

  1. Developing disaggregated data practices across all functions in the organization.
  2. Assessing current budgeting and financial practices.
  • Step 1:

    Consistent funding is put towards this work, and a recurring budget line item is dedicated to racial equity, diversity & inclusion priorities.
